Moodle SEB
& Proctoring
Moodle has 2 tools you can employ to help ensure a 'safe' online exam environment. SEB stands for 'Safe Exam Browser'. If you enable this for a quiz then students will complete the quiz in the SEB program (can be downloaded at quiz start) and this can be configured to ensure students can only access allowed material online.
Moodle Proctoring is a separate add-on which you can enable for a quiz which takes webcam shots of the student at random points to check they are working independently as well as screenshots.
